In my ASK, how should I interpret this info in my background TAB?

ASK has been down for months so I am not sure if this is a glitch in the system, but my Background tab is updated to this, the picture. I know this shows any background investigation from HRC when considering an SM for a position. I know for a fact that this was blank back before ASK went down, however I have yet to get an email from branch or HRC in general saying I am being considered for a Drill Sergeant. Is this something they do first then email? I am just trying to figure it out. Thank you!

I haven’t applied for a position but I have the same thing. Mine says cleared though.

Mine turned out to be a back ground check for the generals aide job I was trying to get. If you didn't apply for anything, probably means your about to come down on orders for Drill. I would call branch.

It was because I applied for the Enlisted Aide program. The background check is the same. Have you applied for anything recently?

I just want to make sure I understand. So even though it was a background check for the aide position it was still reflected in ask as "drill sergeant". Im asking because I should be getting a background check done for recruiter but I just saw it says Drill Sergeant in ask just like yours did but mine has a date for August 2019. Any info you can give will help. Thanks!!

I think the DS background check is kind of the default one they do. So it's probably just the background check for you. There is an email you an get from HRC to ask the background office more details.

So when you are Pending a back ground check for Recruiting or Drill Sergeant this comes up once completed it will look something like this for example
Duty: Drill Sergeant
Type Code: Cleared
Agency: None
Location: Fort Benning
Date: February 10 2019

Did they say you are on orders? I’m gonna check my ask today and I’m hoping for the same which is why I ask.
