In the Old Guard, what would an assignment be like for a officer?

What I can say is the Arlington, Virginia area is a sweet assignment for single veterans, great for established families, but costly being in the heart of DC. Be prepared to drive in an economical vehicle or on a motorcycle! Northern Virginia has some of the worst traffic. It also boasts as one of the highest costs in living. Barring those two elements, probably one of the finest assignments a soldier could have, guarding our nations finest hero’s and sacrifices!
As far as PL duties, probably not too many have served, so good luck in finding that particular fellow troop’s answer!
