Which AR 670-1 violations do you overlook? Do you make on the spot corrections? Who are the biggest violators?

The biggest violators has always been Junior Officers I’ve had to correct so many I was always fixing them so they wouldn’t look bad.

Not knowing about campaign stars on campaign ribbons and that you still need a star even if you just deployed there once.

I sometimes see Reservists and Nation Guardsmen go into a truck stop or convenience stop with their headgear on. I remind them that when in uniform that must remove their headgear when inside of any building whether they are on or off post unless excepted by regulations.

I remember when I was out processing and I was in front of the medical facilities with my SFC smoking a cigarette and this full colonel cane up and I saluted him with a cigarette hanging out of my mouth. He and my SFC looked like they were going to shit themselves. I honestly didn’t even realize it and of course felt like a complete idiot when the colonel screamed in my face

Hands in pockets, sleeves rolled partially, boots un-bloused, no cap (outside) or ball cap...typical EOD stuff, nothing to see here. Ha!

PDA... Public Displays of Affection! It was always an issue in the Reserves, so many damn couples in the Reserves making out, holding hands, blah, blah. Do people still pull this crap in uniform?

Wearing the uniform off base when you're purse shopping, grocery shopping, car shopping, cell phone shopping, etc. Of course, I'm USAF and that's how I was taught in Basic. Apparently we can wear our uniform everywhere we want now. I never got that memo. Like people don't realize we are targets in our own country! It's as if some people are in the military for the discount or want to look like a Billy Badass or something... WTF.
BTW, tell your people that they should still leave a tip even if there isn't a military discount, that's just wrong and makes you look arrogant.
