I ship to basic at the end of May next year. My APFT score is at 220 right now. Is a 300 achievable by the time I ship, and if so, what are your recommendations on how to achieve a 300? I’m trying to give myself the best chance I can at getting into RASP.

Work all aspects of FITT. Train to the standard, ensure to add warm ups, cool downs, and proper stretching. By following a set program and building in the PT standards you can accomplish anything. Ensure to add proper diet to the program. Recruiting stations often have a PT program that recruits can voluntarily participate in, see if one is available to you.

It is achievable but pointless since that will not be the fitness test you take. Effective 1 October 2020, the Army is moving to the ACFT. Review the new test guidance and start weight lifting.

No it is not. You have a passing apft. As long as you have a passing score you will not take another until at least 2022 due to Covid.
