Is a lat move worth it?

I'm a reservist admin clerk. That wasn't originally my contract but I'm not mad that I became an 01 instead of an 03. I'm not sure if this is the job I want for the rest of my time in the Marines. I let my recruiter pick my MOS and never went over a list of what I qualified for. I've since looked over the MOS list and see a few that I'm interested in. Before I go talk to the career planner I just wanted to see if there's anyone who can tell me if it's even worth it.
Like I said I'm not mad at the MOS I have but I'm not sure I want to do it until my contract ends. Admin is pretty sweet and really low maintenance but I feel like I can do more. Messing up everyone's pay is great now and then and I've made a lot of friends. Is there anyone who can lend this junior Marine some advice?
EDIT: Okay so the thing I mentioned about messing up everyone's pay was a poor joke on my end. I never stop hearing from other Marines that all admin does is mess up everyone's pay. We all laugh at it. I guess it was;t as common as I thought. I have never messed with anyone's pay or done anything else to hurt someone.

Lcpl Carrillo, what do you mean by messing up everyone's pay now and then?? Enjoy what you do , if not find something you like and give it your all!!! Hope your not messing with someone pay because you can!!!!
look into the mirror and asked yourself why am I doing this/ and what does the Marine Corps motto means to me. The word is Semper fi. If you have lost your way get out and find something else to DO!!!!
Never, have I ever heard of another Marine missing up someone pay on purpose.

That was a bad joke on my end Gunny. I would never intentionally do that to anyone. Ever since I joined that's just what I've heard everyone say about admin. We mess up everyone's pay. Again just a bad joke on my end. Thanks for the advice Gunny.
"Messing up everyone's pay", looks like you need a little micromanagement. If those Marines getting money for something their not entitled to it could very well come back to bite them in the butt later on. The military has a tendency to take back un-earned funds when you least expect it. Stop messing around with their pay.
LCpl Edward Carrillo Messing with someone's pay could get you in a real world of hurt and I mean physically.
The fact is, you are probably stuck as on 01 until you re-enlist. I was a combat engineer and later became an 0121 (for those that don't know, that's an SRB Clerk). At first, I thought it was great but after a couple months I wanted to go back to the field. I conveyed this the the 1stSgt but he told me they needed me too much in the company office. Also because of short supply of 01's I would probably be stuck as a 01 for as long as I was in...even if I re-enlisted. Sure, I would get the training for the field I wanted to go into, 6600, aviation, per my re-enlistment contract but as a 01 secondary, I would most likely still have to work administrative. This in part helped to lead me to my decision not to sign for another four years.
If you were going to re-up, I would suggest that as part of your contract demand the 01 MOS be deleted from the record entirely. Whether HQMC goes along with that or not, I don't know. I wish you the best of luck.
