Is anyone a recent volunteer for an "all other" or "unaccompanied" tour at an assignment that was not dependent-restricted?

I think I got my answer, took a lot of reading but I think I will get OHA and have off post.

Back in 2005, they took 80 of us on orders for Ft. Jackson that was unaccompanied but since there was no on post housing, they put us up in apartments. They then told us you could bring your family but if you did you would have to declare it and stop any pay associated with it.

The tour that was posted was for an assignment in Hawaii but it was on accompanied due to lack of billeting for familes. The orders call for the candidate to stay the Marriott resort west of Tripler.
