I was lucky, LCpl Kasey Woods. I transitioned from my military job to a DA civilian job in the same field, same unit. But I know there are many who are struggling, looking for a decent job.

Keep soldierin' on. Something will come through.

My secret, mass apply to everything. You will get a few companies that want you based on your skills, then go from there.

I do this every month or so. The job i have now is fine i just answer phones, send cars in and out, and direct night housekeeping maint. and security... so 90% of the time im on FB or youtube because of the dead time.

The problem where im at is most people shrug me off when i tell them im a disabled vet. they cant come out and say it of course but you can tell. Trying to obtain gainful employment is so annoying.

I highly recommend applying to the Bureau of Prisons. I'm not gonna lie, its a tough life at times and its shift work. However there are promotional opportunities and there are over 100 that you could work at all over the country.
