Is anyone else having trouble getting put on assignment from a re-enlistment? What advice do you have to get the ball rolling?

I re-enlisted for a specific location in July with a tentative report date of 20 Nov 23. I haven’t been put on assignment as of today and I’m just under 60 days. Nothing is in IPERMS or IPPS-A, I have spoken with retention and HRC but HRC won’t help me directly. All I’m being told is to be patient, housing is on a 6 month wait list (so they say). I have spoken to retention, branch manager, HRC, and the soldier center on base. My chain knows also. Anyone have any advice to get the ball rolling.
