Is anyone in their local militia?

I have been looking into mine and they seem to be a joke I don't know what I really expected, but it wasn't a bunch of mostly fat people with cammie paint camping with guns. If you are what is it like? It makes me want to start a former military militia lol.

I always wanted to start my own private military force and slowly take over the world. Like a Cobra Commander type person. ... Cobra! Lol

I used to be part of my local airsoft team. Only difference is, everyone was much healthier and we used faked guns.
