I just have a very real interest in getting involved with it if I possibly can, and was just curious how many others on here might be members and or interested, or, as well, if there's a group on the site here for it, apart from USCG groups I've seen listed, and, if not, if there's ever been any interest in such a group on here at all? Many thanks in advance of course.

I grew up on the water in Mass. and was involved in the Sea Cadets, my grand-parents were in the Auxiliary. After returning from Iraq, I joined. There is a ton of training you need to do so be prepared.

I realize, I've gone to sevl flotilla meetings and had spent time while on active in civil aier patrol or cap slightly, as well. One of my best friends has a kid in naval sea cadets, he's told me about it, I've done a good of reading about it also. Have you been through !uch like AUXOP? Radio watchstanding? Flight observer in any aviation flotilla? Helped with the AIM program for the uscg academy or uscga at all? I'd just be most eager to hear more if you might be able to elaborate at all, many thanks .

I saw there was a listing for it among the posting possibilities, so that's why I listed this there, many thanks.

I've seen some stuff on USCG Aux, I've been really wanting to get involved, however, I'm total perm disabled, which makes existence esp for something like that really complicated...are you in it, I gather? Just wondered, many thanks, be most eager to hear more, can try to explain further if you'd care to hear, no rush, much appreciated....
