I asked my company to take an apft to increase scores since a few points short of promotion but was told that since no way to input it into dtms I am locked points wise until acft goes live in april 2023. Is this true or is there another way of inputting that my unit may not be familiar with

If they are referring to it no longer being a valid test, they are correct. Assuming you are in the RC, it doesn't officially go live until APR 2023 (it's live for the active component now).

Per MILPER message 22-099*, after 1 OCT 22 the APFT is not a valid fitness test.

Per HRC*, "There is no remedy to gain (or lose) promotion points for APFT - AFTER the 1st of October 2020."

For clarification, I'm active with a passing acft on file but am looking to increase available promotion points as unit is not approving schools at this time and acft is not actively being used towards promotions

*sigh* ... disregard. That's for AGRs, not active duty.

According to HRC, "There is no remedy to gain (or lose) promotion points for APFT - AFTER the 1st of October 2020."
