I've seen this before and love it. It seems to me that his message of success and giving it your all was more common when I was growing up. It now seems that kids are not encouraged in the same way anymore. It might make someone else feel like a failure, or leave them behind. There will always be kids that can't keep up with the fastest, smartest, most motivated. But a kids that falls behind while trying to keep up with really motivated kids is still further ahead than a kid who can't keep up with mediocrity.

I have to admit - he said some things I needed to hear right now.

I hear this about 2 months ago or one that was very similar. I believe that it is great and the points he makes can be used in many different situations throughout life. I was motivated after hearing it.
