If I change my mos to counterintelligence I heard I get investigation for Top Secret Clearance with Poly, but thing is, is it hard to get it because I'm immigrant? If passed my Secret Clearance, I dont think it would be problem, but I just wanna know if they fail me because I'm immigrant?

Being an immigrant does not make you fail your investigation for security clearance. Not being an American Citizen is a reason for a fail on a clearance.

The largest hurdles you will have to navigate is the "continued foreign contact" and "family members who work for a foreign government" portions of the SF-86. Remember that this includes social media contact. Depending on the extent, it could impact the amount of time it takes to adjudicate your clearance request.

Also, CI was a great career for me. If you have a language it will be better. FYI, I was in Korea last week.

CPL (Join to see) It may just take a bit longer. The timeline for TS clearance is going to change since DoD is taking over from OPM for those investigations. They shouldn't fail you due to immigrant status simply for that. There would need to be a reason to DQ you for it.
