Yes, but be aware that they will prpbably push you towards reserves (I think the main reason is bc it saves in training costs)

Yes. The RE-1 means you are fully qualified at the time of separation and eligible to reenlist. The KBK is the code for "normal expiration of serivce." It just means that you fulfilled your contract. The only other thing is that with more than 6 years of service you cannot reenlist within 93 days of separation, so as long as you've been out longer than 93 days you should be good to go. However (there's always a however) this is all based off of what I was able to pull up on Google in about 30 seconds. Go talk to a recruiter to get the latest and greatest.

How long have you been out and did you transfer into the NG. I had an RE-3 and had to get a waiver to get back in. I was in for 6 1/2 years and have been out for 2, however I’ve been in the NG so it was a little easier. It just depends on what you’re already RE is for. I got my waiver no problem because it was only for declining order that came with a re-enlistment. They’ll have you write a statement to send up to get a waiver for the code
