Orange socks? Sure, why not. Bit an orange bow tie? No.Just no. You want to rock branch colors as an 'O', go mess dress.

Enhance? It's called a uniform for a reason. Artillery and Infantry officers are know to wear suspenders in their branch colors, but those articles of clothing are hidden from view. Being a clown is not part of your job description.

Lol. The way you stand out at these balls is to have the hottest women there. Just saying.

Only if your commander approves it That being said as a young Fire Support Officer attached to a tank battalion I did wear red socks underneath my black ones with a little red showing as well as red suspenders. The Infantrymen attached to the battalion did the same

We wear red ones to the Saint Barbs ball, plus red suspenders and dress socks.

Suspenders in branch colors are about as wild and wacky as the Army allows unless you opt for the party shirts which are custom made to look proper while wearing the jacket. But throw decorum out the window when the official functions are over and the seperate games begin.

The best thing to do is check with your chain of command. Yes it is unauthorized. with that being said people often wear their Branch colors and it is accepted but I would check with my first sergeant or sergeant major before I ever thought about doing it
