SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL I agree that education is really important. But what if...you could attend an institution that is a mixture of education and internships? What if that institution cut out the electives, only taught you what you wanted/needed to know, increased the job placement rate, and did it at a fraction of the cost and time of a normal institution? I think it is an interesting debate, especially considering students are leaving college with 50K+ in debt.

We seem more willing nowadays to tell people what to think. This is one factor polarizing America. We must begin again to teach folks how to think and evaluate the opinion of others. As Rod Serling predicted a half-century ago:

Turns out we were lied to most of our lives. Can you be a doctor if you want?? Probably. Does everybody need a college degree? Hell no! ! Turns out some people are destined to be garbage men or Porta shitter washers.
