Is it too late for immigration reform if major cities boldly declare sanctuary status and fear no reprisal?

Many cities large and small have felt emboldened to declare themselves sanctuary cities. The very term sanctuary implies collusion to protect in this case lawbreakers and illegal ALIENS. These cities have effectively declared themselves outside the laws of our land and defy all federal enforcement efforts with impunity. They are encouraged by elected lawmakers. Has the point of no return passed?

nope, all it will take is for a few mayors to get arrested and prosecuted; or better yet for one to be found financially liable for the damaged caused by an illegal alien that they harbored. One good court case will end this entire illegal movement.

They better make damn sure it is a GOOD court case. One bad court case will do a thousand times the harm.

Eventually the silent majority will require action to be taken against the rogue cities..trump has the right idea..hit them in the wallet and they will see the error of their ways..it is just a matter of implementation of how to stop federal funds..

The Architects of this mess have been working very hard at it for a long time.
The illegals are brought into the entitlement system which is a buerocratic quagmire. Easy to drag someone in but it takes a whole lot of dynamite to get them out.. And that turns into a one at a time deal. When we make it unprofitable to protect these people by actively prosecuting the hell out of the lawbreakers, giving their civil rights attorneys absolutely no quarter, ect.
But there's the problem. The attorneys and politicians all go to the same cocktail parties and swap bodily fluids.
I think crashing their parties with bus loads of illegals rounded up by ICE would be a nice housewarming gift for any rich liberal and their guests.

True however, it is that first think that's the biggest hurdle. Seems most of these smug legislators and public officials need some cerebral shock therapy to jumpstart their unused brain centers. There seems to be a shortage of gray matter in these cases.
I do have a possible solution to investigate however..
