Are you investing, even just a little in the PowerBall Lottery...Even just a little to allow you to take a virtual vacation? There were no winners Saturday night and will be over $1 billion dollars on Wednesday. That would be $468M after taxes on a single winning ticket taking lump sum payout. How would that kind of money change your life?

The way I see it, I sweat two dollars watching sport on any given day. I think I can part with that with the prospect of winning almost half a billion.

If I woke up and had $500 million to my name, I guess I'd have to start selling off some of my private jets and islands to adjust to the sudden drop in my net worth.

It's a loser of an investment. If you can't afford to just burn the money, don't play. OTOH, if you're going to spend $2, spend the 3rd and get the doubler option.
