I was a virgin in AIT and was gang raped by 3 soldiers who said this would make me a better soldiers because over seas if I was to be a prisoner those soldiers rape women all the time. These 3 men believed they were doing me a favor. I was so ashamed it took me 15 years to finally seek treatment. I lost my virginity and became pregnant from the assault. I have night terrors, panic attacks, PTSD , agoraphobia, anger issues, isolation due to fear of being attacked by any man. Is there any treatment that can be recommended that may work? BTW yes I have filed criminal charges against these men, filed unrestricted report as well.

I feel your pain with Agoraphobia. VA home-based Primary Care is awesome with my 4 NOV Complaint, a work-in-progress with my U.S. Congressman.

Wrong...No, except those guys may have been emboldened to repeat or worse. This type of event should be reported and punishment communicated to the post and similar settings, hoping to discourage such despicable actions. Hope you heal and learn to grow away from the trauma.

let me add this I didn't know that there is no statute of limitation on rape while on active duty . So I believe any soldier should go ahead and take your life back. Don't be ashamed. What I don't condon is someone having a one nightstand and that person gets rejected so out of spite cry rape. That ruins another soldiers life. Trust me I have scene and heard people talking at the VA saying that he was going to pay for not leaving his wife. I advised her she will end up in Leavenworth because I will write a statement about everything she had laughed about.
