Is possible that Active duty soldier can transfer to Reserve soldier ? Is possible that Active can transfer to Reserve ?

If you have not shipped for Basic yet, you will need to speak with your Recruiter to see if you can get your contract redone for Reserves.

If you have already shipped out, then you will need to seek out your Retention NCO once you get to your duty station. However, you will most likely not be able to switch to the Reserves so early into your contract. What is more likely is that when you come near the end of your initial term, you will still have some years obligated to the Army. This is when you can then join the Reserves upon ETSing from Active Duty.

As for school, you can do school while on Active Duty. It will just be during your own time....like evenings and weekends

I’m not trying to be rude but everything you have posted is whining about your situation or your “brother’s” situation like you guys weren’t aware that you were signing up for the Army. You swore in multiple times knowing this would be a more than full time job. There’s nothing you can do but serve your contract, which is something you could have very easily searched on Google

I honestly think you are better off going active getting your GI Bill vested and being done with it. A USAR contract is twice as long, and you'll continue to have USAR conflicts with constantly changing training schedules that drag out your graduation time line.

Taking a pause to go active will give you 36 months worth of school funding and cash flow stream where you can just focus on school afterward.

Going USAR will drag out your school time line, not really provide much of an education benefit and ironically you'd probably finally graduate after much conflict around the same time you would having going active and taking a pause.

I'm only relating back to my 2+ years as a USAR Company Commander of a Quartermaster unit as of 2019.

It is not possible until you finish your current contract. You can go to school while on active duty.

Unless you have a significant reason or purpose such as a humanitarian transfer you will be stuck on Active Duty for the foreseeable future. You can’t just switch because you’d rather be a student.

You can go to college first as part of the officer program as long as you qualify and your degree is needed- then after you have expected service.

You cannot transfer from one to the other. You will have to finish your enlistment.

You can do it - through an online platform while in AD. And if anything is remaining, you can simply use the GI Bill you'll earn at 100% after 3 years of AD.

You don't know the number if soldiers in the Guard that haven't completed their degree. It's not easy being a part time reservist - especially if you're state is a very active state for SAD.

Be careful for what you wish for.

What matters most for your question to be answered with the most accuracy is whether or not you have already shipped to basic training or not.
