I have not been on this website very long but the more I browse it seems the more this place is just a heaven for trolls and the websites business model might even be based on trolls to generate increased web hits and replies in order to improve ad revenue.

Yes. Controversial issues and sensitive subjects are repeatedly posted to generate website activity that equates to increased ad revenue for the site's operator.

Probably. Hot button issues do seem to get repeated quite often and there always seem to be somebody posting provoking comments

Maybe but the site enables former service members and retirees communicate with current service members.

No, these are real people asking real questions and everything else is just a coincidence.

Definitely just people airing their differences. I'd be willing to wager ad revenue doesn't even cover costs yet. Tech ventures aren't usually profitable for their first few years. Long term financial plan is to develop partnerships with companies looking to create partnerships with RP to hire veteran talent. Ads just help sustain the site as it approaches profitability.
