I'm still very new to this website but I find it interesting, especially the discussion aspect of it. I've been scrolling and reading for hours and I still find topics and interest me. Am I the only person slowly becoming addicted to the discussion boards?

Sir. I have been out of the service 16 years and I find it very interesting to see how passing the torch to a younger generation of Americans, and seeing how they run with it . Addictive moderately!

CPT George Raileanu, I agree that the site is addicting. I've been on it for a month, and Facebook has lots its shine for me. RallyPoint is like sitting around the barracks, the range, the TOC (pick a location), and BS'ing with "the troops" in a virtual way.

I find it very interesting and fun and, yes, at times, addicting. I enjoy interacting with people of like minds and have learned much from many of them.

It can be addicting, if one does not set limits. Similar to John, I enjoy reading posts in order to see what topics are relevant among the active duty service members, to gain other perspectives on topics, and just to relax. Though my job keeps me connect to the military, I find this forum a different type of connection which names, rank, status really does not matter.

With respect, sir, if you are being addicted to this, there are 2 solutions: enjoy it, since it pertains to all of us or run like hell to a meeting and tell everyone why you are addicted to forums. ;)

I left if for a long time. I'm back. It is more interesting when I am not working on a masters, two internships, and raising a child at the same time.

RP could be classified as "addictive", I think of it as more "therapeutic". Anytime something aggravating happens, I refer back to RP for a sanity check. Keeps me going and also brings up some interesting topics to share with your Soldiers.
