Is taking on tens of thousands of Syrian refugees going to make a humanitarian difference?

Whatever flavor Kool-Aid Liberals drink, it must be a good one. They all seem to like it -- A LOT!

Cpl (Join to see) - Someone who immigrates here on a fiance visa is not a refugee... my Mom was never a refugee, even though she came here from Germany to marry my Dad on one after he returned from Vietnam. Saying that "it's naive to think everyone who comes to this country has honorable intentions" is a straw man. The point is that if you want to get a terrorist into the country... a tourist Visa or short walk from Mexico is the way to do it. I'm still not aware of a single refugee who ever committed an act of terror on US soil.

Capt Jeff S. - It's called basing ones opinions on the best available evidence. I believe you can find it between black cherry and tropical punch.

I much prefer real fruit juices over cheap imitations. And a resume of success with real, tangible results over empty promises from cheap, imitation "leaders"...

Capt Jeff S. - Kool Aid or straight from the vine... if it's not based on the best available evidence, I'm not interested. Not having a single actual refugee commit an act of terror in the US would seem to indicate a fairly strong record of success.

Whatever happened to "Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me." We should be doing more to help the refugees from war torn regions our own neoconservative polices helped inflame.
