Is the 4 year adso when Transferring G.I. Bill to a dependent strictly active duty or can it be NG/reserves?

I want to transfer my Gi Bill to a child at my 6 year mark but I’m wondering if the 4 year adso is strictly for Acitve Duty? Or can I serve the adso in the NG/Reserves?

If you're on AD the SRR is served on AD. If you initiate the transfer while in the NG it's served in the NG and I believe the NG charges a 6 year SRR for TEB
