Is the editor at RollingStone smoking his own product?
Here's a link to a story about the contractor's version of events pushed to promote the movie. There clearly was a disagreement between some of the contractors and their commander at the site about the response. Some wanted to leave immediately while the commander ordered them to wait what turned out to be 20 minutes to get more intel and arrange for Lybian militia support. That delay for planning and preparation has now been called a stand down order for dramatic effect. But I think any military person wouldn't refer to that as a stand down order at all. And there certainly was no connection between the commander making a tactical command decision on the ground and the implication that Clinton or Obama actually ordered a stand down.
The term stand down order has now taken on a nebulus life of its own, where all the details are lost, but the implication remains that the administration somehow cost those personnel their lives by stopping a rescue attempt. But that is myth, not fact.

CIA Benghazi team clash led to 'stand down' report | The Big Story
WASHINGTON (AP) — CIA officers revealed a clash over how quickly they should go help the besieged U.S. ambassador during the 2012 attack on an outpost in Libya, and a standing order for them to avoid violent encounters, according to a congressman and others who heard their private congressional testimony or were briefed on it.
My question is... will "anyone" be held accountable? The answer is... I seriously doubt it! So dwelling on the situation is time wasted.
Oh geez there's a Movie now!... Great... I'm sitting here shaking my head in incredulity! What Next...maybe I shouldn't ask!
Take care Mike.
I am in full agreement with your assessment that term limits should be imposed. I am also pleased with the idea that lobbyists be ELIMINATED.
Our government is corrupt due to the number of dollars pouring into the politician's pockets.
One of the things that I like about Bernie is that he is a truth-teller about the "citizens United" decision.
The decision allows the rich boys to absolutely CONTROL Washington and the statehoused all over this nation. How is that a benefit to the rest of us? It is not.
Nothing in this Life is free... Everything has a cost to it... and anyone that says any different is just plain lying to you.
Take Medical Insurance... do you know any Dentists or Doctors that work for free? Every time I go to my Doctor, she charges me about $230 dollars, if I go to the Dentist, even if it's just for a cleaning and Check-up...it's $100!
If you spent 6 to 10 years in Medical school, and tuition cost you say $20,000 per semester, for 2 semesters per year, so that's $40,000 per year... times 6 years, that's just short of $250,000 for the first 6 years of Medical School and that's just to get you through Pre-Med,
If you choose a specialty that's another 4 to 6 years of tuition or $160,000 to $250,000... That's why Doctors don't work for free, besides having to pay back the loans for all that tuition, they still have to feed themselves, pay their rent, utilities, car payment, Insurance and all the normal stuff like you and me!
So Bernie's talk about everybody that want's to, being able to get a College Education for Free if he's elected... it's just that... Talk.
Someone has to pay for that. How many College Professors or School Teachers for that matter do you think would work for free... They Won't! And it costs money to light , heat, cool and run the computers and other equipment necessary to operate a College Campus.
Neither You, nor anyone else, is being realistic if you're expecting something for nothing. If you made a product, or you went to work doing a job, any job... how long would you be willing to do that job without pay?
You learned to be a mechanic of sorts while on Active Duty right? A good mechanic makes anywhere from $50 - $75/hour and up to twice that. Would you work for free or even for $15/hour if you knew other mechanics that do what you do, were making $50/hour? Especially a specialized kind of mechanic like yourself?
Bernie, just like any other politician, is going to tell you what he thinks you want to hear! Plain and simple! He'll say anything to get himself elected. I'll admit, a lot of the things he's proposing sound absolutely wonderful... Utopian in fact... But I doubt he's going to find any College or University Professors that are going to be willing to work for nothing. SO how is he going to make good on that promise... He isn't.
Sorry to burst your bubble young 'ne... but it's one of the unchangeable truths of Life... There ain't nothing Free! More commonly stated... "There ain't no free lunch!" (dinner or even breakfast)... well except if you go down to the Salvation Army and stand in the Soup Line, but likely as not, at the very minimum they'll put you to work and make you earn the meal.
Alright I've belabored the point enough now, I'll shut up!;-)
Oh SCPO- I have lived long enough to know that their ain't NOTHIN under heaven and earth that is "FREE". I am no millinial.
I know that the college proposal is dumb, and will not likely happen. I know the idea that we would get UNIVERSAL healthcare is probably not true either. I don't believe that ANYONE would or should work for free. I don't believe that has been proposed. I understand about student loans because our household is heavily-burdened with them. I have a master's degree and my spouse is an attorney. We know ALL about lifelong debt. My sister in law is a physician. She works just about constantly (she is just that way!) and she will likely not be able to pay off her loans until shortly before retirement. I am suggesting that maybe it is not in our nation's best interest to have so much of the population burdened under such high lifelong debt. When I left college I was $100,000 dollars in debt. I chose to do government work because if you do government service long enough you can get some of your debt forgiven.
In any regard- nothing he is proposing is free. I like him best because he promises to get RID of citizen's united- a decision built to encourage and shelter corruption if there ever was one. He is putting his money where is mouth is by NOT taking money from any corporations or superpacs.
In addition to this he has shown himself to be CONSISTENT throughout his career. He has been hated and he has been loved, but he does not compromise his principles in response to either of them. He has his eye on income inequality- a SERIOUS problem in this country. I don't think redistribution of wealth is his goal- just making everyone pay a fair share- no hiding money and assets to avoid paying taxes. He wants to employ the unemployed with public works and infrastructure jobs- it worked in the 30s- why not now? He is not calling for FREE meals- just more opportunities for work and decent pay.
That is why I am a Bernie supporter.
I am sorry, but I don't know what that is- or if I ever knew it escaped my brain and is running around causing havoc elsewhere!
I would've ran for president
