Is the Reserve/National Guard M-SLC Phase 1 only residence or is it also offered in a DL format?

I have a reserved seat for Phase 2 (11B) M-SLC in July. I can’t get a solid answer on Phase 1. Is it only residence or is it also offered in a DL format? I am a reservist and the only 11B in my battalion so I don’t have anyone who has done this to leverage.

MSLC at Camp Shelby is two resident phases 28 days total. When it first came around phase one was DL but not anymore.
If anywhere has a DL phase it's the first I've heard of it, but I only worry about what's in my wheelhouse which is resident both phases.

I just dug a little deeper. DL went away in 2012 for MSLC. Like our course, all phases are resident.

Thank you MSG. I already have a reserved seat for Phase 2 but not Phase 1. Odds of walking on to Phase 1 if a spot in ATRRS doesn’t open up?

You have two phases 1st phase is DL and your Training NCO can slot you for it. 2nd phase is residential two weeks. Your overall ranking in th class will be based off what you grade you get in your 1st phase DL. I know Active SLC is 8 weeks Guard is two Reserves can either go Guard or Active courses. I hope this helps

Yea let me get that for you since you’re Reserves I can look up jeb8 week course if you are wanting to do that at Benning that what I was going to do but didn’t go because once I got my SLC done I would have gotten my 7 and would be locked in the Reserves and not be Active today
