We have the highest GDP, but we've been surpassed by other countries for some time now in quality of life and income for the middle class. Fact is, top .1% of income earners in the US control a hugely disproportionate amount of the annual GDP.

A very interesting read Sir. It's all in the perspective. I do strongly agree with the last part; we are big and rich, but we are also big and in big debt. Thanks for sharing.
