Is there a good reason that RallyPoint has two groups with identical purposes: Genealogy and Family Research?

I looked at both Genealogy and Family Research and they seemed to be virtually identical except for the name. I noticed many of the members of Family Research are also members of Genealogy. I am trying to reduce the number of duplicate groups that I am members of to "clean up the battlefield."

LTC Stephen Ford, Without a doubt the groups should be merged. When I speak of my Genealogical work. I always tell of the pleasures of doing the research and of how my detailed mind discovered my long, lost Irish Grand Father. Successful Genealogy stories are always based on the research. That makes them one and the same to me.

Absolutely sir! I will add that for me the stories make it that more fun. Names and dates are important, but it's the stories for me.
