Is there a regulation that governs the wear of Dress Blues by Veterans? AR 670-1?

I've worn mine to retirement ceremonies and follow Navy equivalent regs. Even at 66 I'm still within proscribed military appearance standards in a uniform.

I can only speak for the Marine Corps. Dress Blues are authorized for veterans to wear provided that all other grooming standards are met, the uniform reflects the last rank attained before you were discharged, the discharge must be other than dishonorable, and the veteran does not disgrace the uniform. You earned it but do not disrespect it. Semper Fi

No story, was cleaning my closer ran across my dress greens and my dress blues, the blues I bought have never been worn as for I bought them and then was medically discharged 15 months later. If the reg wouldn't allow me to wear it I wouldn't but, I see I'm perfectly allowed to on the events I may chose too.
