Yes I believe there is. After retirement I was that if I were to wear my Class A's I would need to remove patch on my left shoulder replace it with the retired patch that can get.

Leave the left sleeve shoulder patch where it is
The United States Army retired Service Identification Badge may be purchased by retirees at any clothing and sales shop on any military post or base or PX or BX and are authorized for wear on your dress uniform with or without a Combat Service Identification Badge if you have earned one or not.
it is worn on the dress blues the front right breast pocket in the center or to the far right side of that same pocket if you have a combat service identification badge (CSIB or AKA your combat patch which on the dress greens would be on the upper right sleeve of your dress greens and then the retired badge will go on right front center breast pocket). leave your unit patch where it is on the left shoulder sleeve and the combat patch on the right shoulder sleeve. the United States Army retired Service Identification Badge will be placed and pinned in the center of the right breast pocket.
hope this helps you out

670-1 IS THE BIBLE IN THE WEAR AND APPERANCE OF THE REAL SOLDIER. I will not change anything

670-1. But it is ambiguous on some issues. It shows wearing a beret with the uniform. Talks about wearing the service hat. I am wearing to my grandsons AIT graduation.

Don't know about other services but retired Marines may wear any uniforms as long as they comply with grooming standards.
As to non retired veterans, not permitted.

You can can wear your green with all items on them as they would be when you. Retired. I just bough dress blues, the new ones, so I have to comply with today's uniform requirements. They do have a Retiree Badge you wear on your pocket

How does one become a Sergeant and not know the regulation covering the wearing of the uniform. Did you go to PLDC, WLC or what ever they call it now? How do you do uniform inspections if you don't know the regulation? All these brotherly love replies do not solve the underlying issue which is we are promoting soldiers to the NCO ranks that do not have basic leadership knowledge.

Did you read the full question, and perhaps a slight memory lose from my 3 technical deaths during heart surgery on the 16th of Feb this year might have had something to do with that....read the question completely and understand it SFC
