Is there a regulation that the Army can send you home early if you secure a civilian job?

I am getting out medically. I have secured a civilian job, however I have cleared everything except for company and battalion and I have been waiting 3 months. I thought there was some regulation out there, that if you were to secure a job outside the military they could expedite your process and not hold you in service past a certain amount of days.

No there is not, and the one that was in place would be not applicable because you're going through a med board which trumps everything. The MEB time line is dictated by law and DOD guidelines. Nothing can expedite, or slow down, the process when it's a med board

SPC (Join to see) well, that sucks. Either way, the policy you're referring to was rescinded years ago, and it only allowed you to ETS a few months earlier

Now, I REALLY recommend you talk with your S1. Because, if you are getting out under a medical discharge, that is completely different than getting out because of a job. If you cleared everything but the unit, do you have orders in hand? I ask because I was always with the understanding that a SM cannot start clearing until ETS orders are in hand.

No I do not have orders. Litterally here just waiting on I have no clue what, and I reached out to my s1, they don’t know anything about that. I’m currently in South Korea

I’m not sure that’s allowed but a good place to start to research would be AR 600-200

I’m not understanding why you would be allowed to clear everything if you have no orders. What official documentation do you have that allowed you to clear? Just trying to understand what authority do you have to clear and what type of paperwork have you received officially informing you that you’re getting separated.
If you are not ETSing there isn’t a regulation that would allow you to separate early.

I am getting a chapter 5-17. My CDR wrote a memo so I could clear cif. Part of the process is to clear medical as well. All I am waiting on is to clear the company and battalion as well as post. Documentation, is my chapter recommendation and my legal packet

That ended a few years ago the only one that still exists is the early school release
AR 635-200: 5–16. Early separation to further education

SPC (Join to see) What is your ETS date, and as mentioned by MSG (Join to see), are you talking about moving up your ETS date, and the reason why?

SPC (Join to see) - No regulations that I can find. Doesn't mean they aren't out there. Here is one thing I found from a forum that is similar to your situation:
"You will need to 4187 and get an O-6 or higher to sign off. Here's the criteria:
Employment-related separations: Soldiers of the Regular Army who are approaching their ETS, or expiration term of service, and who elect not to re-enlist or extend their service on active duty may request early separation 180 days in advance of the ETS for the purpose of accepting employment.
Applicants for early release must provide a written statement from their prospective employer indicating the job offered, whether it is full-time or part-time, the amount of the compensation, and whether that compensation will be salaried or hourly.
The statement also must indicate the start date of the employment, and how early separation from service will facilitate acceptance of the job offer, and how a delay would cause hardship.
The employment must be full time, and support the soldier's income requirements as indicated in the 12-month post-separation budget completed as part of the Transition Assistance Program.
Separation dates normally will be no earlier than 10 days before the employment start date. Approval authorities can extend the separation to 30 days if soldiers require additional time to relocate for employment."
For more information, I recommend you get with your S1.

MSG (Join to see) that's from a voluntary separation policy that expired years ago. It was used during the drawdown.

SFC (Join to see) - Much appreciated for this info. I didn't know it was no longer in play.
