I have been to lots of sporting events and no other sport then NASCAR shows their support to the Armed forces then NASCAR. If you know of any please comment. If NASCAR is the most supportive sport in all sports in the USA maybe other can be influenced by them.

I do not follow any traditional sports, I stick to air racing and sprint boat racing. Life on the line, screw up and you die type of competition. While the air races do not do all the flag waving seen at NASCAR, baseball and football they do modify and maintain WWII vintage aircraft that are doing 500mph 50' off the deck. Red Bull also keeps a stable of operational and well preserved (pristine is probably more appropriate) old warbirds.
While they do not chant the loudest they carry the message in an untraditional fashion by keeping a tangible piece of our military history alive. It is also paraded in a manner incomparable by other sports as they typically attract swarms of historical and modern military hardware allowing them to tell stories through one-on-one conversations at their displays.
And unlike many of the other sports, they do not receive millions of dollars from the government as advertisement/recruiting to wave the flag and carry the message.

Over 150,000 attended this year’s event with pilots racing in six classe ...[Read More]
