So I posted a large question with multiple subjects in it and got told to try breaking them up so here it goes. I'm an E-3 in the NG looking to go Active Duty as soon as possible with my wife and two dogs. Only problem is that one is a pitbull and the other is a pit mix. Besides living off base or giving them up, is there a way I am able to move on base and keep them?

Thank you

Every posts housing is going to tell you no pitbulls. You'll see lots of people on post with Pitt bulls and mixes. It's not allowed, but I've never seen it enforced anywhere.

Regardless if you are on base, off base or anywhere in-between if there is a policy prohibiting Pitbull's you will always have to struggle with this hurdle.

If the Post policy says no pitbulls, then no. There is usually no exception to policy for this. Depending where you're at, living off base is almost always better anyway.
