Is there a way to have my first duty station changed? (SWAPS/ Permissive reassignment etc)?

If you are already assigned to a duty location and have started your time while you await your airborne class date, the branch will not reassign you if you’ve been there less than 12 months. If there is not a good reason as to why you need to be reassigned it won’t happen because you are assigned based upon the needs of the Army. I totally understand about moving while pregnant, however the Military assigned you to a location that you where needed, not what’s convenient to you (no disrespect intended).

You can find your branch manager email on the HRC website. Swaps aren't usually entertained except in the case of AIT students. They're almost unheard of these days.

You can call Branch and explain the problem- may or not work. Give it a try tho.
