Trying to reclass to EOD but have an SRR of 36 months with a Special Forces Group. My chain of command is okay with my reclass and the school house has already accepted me. Can I get an ETP or waiver to get orders to AIT or do I have to fulfill the 36 months first? (I have already completed over a year)

You're looking at SRR incorrectly. The SRR was what determined how much time had to have left on your contract to PCS there. There is no ETP for you because there is no policy that holds you there. However there is a 3year Airborne commitment that might be enforced if you haven't served a total of three years on airborne status. There are a handful of authorizations for airborne 89D in the Army so if strengths don't support HRC may reject your reclass.
Either way, you take your acceptance letter to your Career Counselor and let HRC worry about that

I have already fulfilled a 3 year airborne commitment, but I'm being told that I need to be in group for 3 years and wouldn't even be able to start AIT for reclass until the 36 months has been met in group. This would be over a year and a half from now. My career counselor and others are tracking. There just seems to be no definite answer.

SGT (Join to see) there absolutely is a definite and your Career Counselor is incorrect if they're telling you that you can't move till 3 years Time on Station.
If you weren't lying about your Name/Rank/MOS I could even tell you who to contact to fix this.

SFC (Join to see) Sorry, I was new to the site and didn't know what it was about. I tried to keep some anonymity until I found out. Name is Dylan Breeden SGT 92Y. I'd appreciate any help I could get.
