Is there any exception to policy for going to OCS with a 110 GT score?

I have already taken the ASVAB 3 times and have only received a 100 GT which by policy is not good enough. Any thoughts?

Not to be rude, if that is your goal you need to study harder and retake the test. Hard work pays off. Having a lower GT score can impact future promotions and assignments. So it would help you across many fronts to raise your score.

to be perfectly blunt, if someone has taken the ASVAB 3 times already and the best they can do is a 100 GT and the minimum for commission is 110, maybe it's time to accept the fact that they are just not cut out to be an officer. We all have different abilities and limitations, no shame in admitting it. Had a friend in college that wanted to be a doctor more than anything but no matter how much he studied and how hard he tried, he could never score high enough on the MCAT to get into medical school.

Get a degree into a specialty field. I am almost 100% certain no one cared what my GT was when I applied for a direct commission into nursing. They needed nurses, the entry level requirement was a BSN, and seventeen years later I am still here.

I have a degree in Security and management.... any jobs you know of that would allow me direct commission??

MSG (Join to see) - not to be Debbie downer or excessively rude, BUT if the guy is struggling to get a 110 GT on the ASVAB, the chances of him meeting the qualifications for a DC in cyber are very low.
