PSYOP is short manned. Check out the next special operations recruiting (SORB) briefing or contact them directly.
There is an Assessment and Selection, Airborne School, a language school, and Q Course.
There is an automatic promotion to E5 upon graduation.
This job manages what is traditionally called psychological warfare. There is one tactical battalion that partners with of SOF across SOCOM (SEALs, Army Special Forces, MARSOC) and then there's the majority which are regionally aligned. These BNs send teams forward to work out of embassy's in civilian business casual in their respective combatant commands.
I love the job, as do most of the soldiers. Let me know if you have any questions.

Was that in the reserves?
You will have to go through selection and the PSYOP Q course no matter what. If you can pass a DLPT with a 2/2 you can test out of language school.
