I’m in army reserve, and my dental in medpro is about due. I was wondering in concern of covid 19, is there any option to postpone annual dental, especially in Texas here not enough room for covid 19 patient, so even if we get covid 19 there at the dental exam, we will not have room in hospitals. My dental is perfectly fine, just did my exit exam when I get out of active duty last November, I do not want to expose to unnecessary visit and come back get my whole family infected with covid. Please give some advise.

All USAR personnel were given a 90 extension on their dental exam due/past due date because of COVID. So if your annual was due 1 Jan, normally you wouldn't show up past due until 1 April, but now you shouldn't reflect negatively in MEDPROS until 1 Jul. LHI is doing appointments. Or you can see your own dentist and have him/her fill out the dd2813.

Thanks Mam. I remember I did a exit dental check in Oct 2019 when I ETs from active duty. I do not sure how Reserve have my dental due 7/30/2020. I was wondering what happen if one refuse to go to the dental exam.

I'm not sure how that date got either, but often the exit exam doesn't get documented and nothing gets transferred over (medically) to the reserves.
Depending on your command's policies, there is a chance that they could refuse to allow you to drill/get paid. If you are ordered/counseled to attend and then don't you could get UCMJ for disobeying an order.

Your work around is getting the dental exam thru your civilian dentist (if they are taking patients) and have them fill out a DD Form 2813 then upload it on the LHI website

That would be a question to ask your dental folks. Their policies would be what drives this.
