Is there any way to get rid of a PT flag without taking a PT test?

I was flagged for PT prior to my shoulder surgery. Was suppose to pick up Specialist 8 months ago but cannot due to being flagged and not being able to take a PT test because of my surgery. Recovery isn’t going as planned and there is no telling when I will be healthy enough to take a PT test.
