I need someone who knows the regulations and articles inside and out to contact me. Is in regards to a discharge and I’m trying to upgrade mine

1. You can look them up yourself. 2. You can look at the Vet organizations to get practical help in upgrading, as they take training on it and are suppose to be current on it.

Look it up on the internet or go to the JAG office. Dispense with "Latrine Lawyers".

Either retain a private attorney as LT Terry Lober suggested, or search to see if there is a free legal services organization near you that provides services to veterans. The American Bar Association has a list: https://www.americanbar.org/portals/public_resources/aba_home_front/directory_programs.html

The VA actually does have legal aid. I contacted them yesterday

Thank you SGM but with my case it’s a little different. I was separated before a civilian disposition was ever handed down

Hire, and pay for out or your pocket, a civilain attorney that was a JAG. They usually know what they are doing.
