Never favored the flag patch even on the ACU shoulder, and will always believe (if worn) it should have the blue/white field of stars in the other corner. Always seemed wrongly reversed. Yes, have heard the explanation why it is as it is, but don’t agree.

When I was in the army we did not wear any flags on our uniforms. So this is a question outside my knowledge. However if the flag is displayed in a dipped fashion,that is only suppose to be flown that way in extreme distress!

The flag when is displayed upside down is when you are in distress, n’t the way we used it now.
