Negative depends on when wear how the flag is used. If the backpack or ruck or jump bag is part of the uniform yes. If it’s personal then no.

You all lost me I thought from the picture of the 25th infantry soldiers with the US flag patch on their right and the Division patch under was wrong to be displayed that way then after clicking on it we come to I guess the actual question that is asking if wearing a flag patch on a backpack is against Regulations. So which question are we discussing. SPC5

I’d just like to pint out to this ewho’ve references flag code that the wear of flags on our OCPs is a violation of the flag code

"(j)No part of the flag should ever be used as a costume or athletic uniform. However, a flag patch may be affixed to the uniform of military personnel, firemen, policemen, and members of patriotic organizations. "

The uniform patch is considered a replica and as such may be worn on your uniform however since it is not stated directly whether or not it may be worn on your assault pack then it is up to your COC as to whether or not you can wear it in that manner.
