Hi SFC Ballard, thanks for posting this! I was assigned as a patient to 2 different WTUs -- one at Schofield Barracks and one out of Fort Knox (remotely). The duration of your process of being assigned here really depends on your own unique medical situation -- do you have to do to a physical exam review board, etc.? WTUs are a really unique unit to be assigned to, since they often do little to no PT (due to medical situations) and can feel like a looser conglomeration of military personnel. However, I sincerely appreciated the care I got while in the WTU. If you have any questions beyond this, feel free to post them here or email me personally at [login to see] . Thanks!

Thanks Sir for the information. I put in my paperwork to be assigned to WTU back in January. It came back one time for minor corrections but that was all. Its at Division now so hope to hear something soon.
