So, what does the good people of RallyPoint think about this? Should we as a nation and our political leaders remain in a reactive posture until something dreadful happens or should we take a proactive stance on the border?
What ideas do you have for securing this massive expanse of border?

Well, them folks obviously haven't done their homework if they are coming into the US via Texas. I mean...they should come in through California really...or New Mexico. Long walk through enemy territory to get out of Texas. Shoot...can't imagine that.

No one ever said they were smart. enter the US thru Texas and its mass of heavily armed citizens...Do they not know this is where Audie Murphy is from? Why wouldnt they come in at Cali, they are softies and would probably try to pass legislature to help them.

ISIS, is not in Texas, but there are lone wolves and fools out there looking to make a name for themselves. As to how to deal with wannabees, fools, and lone wolves do not depend on the military nor police, best is to apply for your conceal carry and practice at the range, in case the day comes that fate puts you in a position to act. BUT SECURE GUNS AWAY FROM KIDS!
