It has been estimated that it will take in excess of over 100 billion dollars to rebuild Iraq. Who do you all think should pay for it? So far no one is offering to foot the bill. The United States has told the Iraqis it won’t pay for a massive reconstruction drive. Peace!

In my opinion, the last step of a conflict should include assisting a local populace rebuild in an image that we influence. It should suit their needs while creating a state that is conducive to further US interest. Not in a weird world domination way, but in a way that validates the sacrifice made in the first place.
