It is with a saddened heart that I must inform you that the great state of Tennessee has lost another one of her Heroes.

The family of Jim "Scooter" Miscichoski has asked that the Patriot Guard Riders show honor to their loved one.

,and it will be our honor to do so.

Jim was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the United States Air Force. He was also the President of the Shiloh Riders Association, the organization that puts on the East Tennessee Toy Run and is instrumental in helping over 800 underprivileged children and teens at Christmas.

Kelly, his wife, has requested the members of the Shiloh Riders Association wear their Shiloh Rider member's shirt and weather permitting to please come on two wheels to escort Jim on his last ride. If you have attended one of the Toy Runs, please wear your shirt.

The services are as follows:

Sunday May 4th Visitation 11 am. to 1 pm. with Memorial Services and burial to follow.

Farrar Funeral Homes
Jefferson City
411 West Broadway Blvd.
Jefferson City, TN 37760

STAGING: 10:15am at the funeral home; Flags will be provided

There have been many RallyPoint members who have sought ways to recognize impactful individual service members and veterans who have passed either in combat or after their military career.

It is not practical to recognize every individual with a separate discussion, but we are happy to host those posts on this central thread.

You are invited to post responses here about individual service members and veterans that you wish to honor.
