Columbus Day weekend is upon us and that means that tens of thousands of visitors will be taking their annual trip to our State (NH) to look at our foliage. Yep, they drive up here to look at the tons of leaves that has changed colors . Well, I also took my annual ride up to our White Mountains and this is what I saw? I hope that you enjoy these photos! Fall foliage in New Hampshire! As you can see, even a Moose came out to see! I left a single rose on a bench at the Falls.

David - I'm sorry about the traffic and tourists you will have to put up with because I know what it was like when I use to work in D.C. and tourist season was upon us. But your state is filled with incredible beauty this time of year. If I lived closer you'd probably see me leaf peeping too.

After viewing these photos on my Facebook Page, someone wrote the following poem:
A Single Red Rose
A single red rose left on the bench,
A secret message of care.
Left for whoever would find it first,
One rose with beauty so fair.
The rose spoke volumes without one word,
A picture of tenderness.
I'm sure the finder felt the deep touch,
And their heart must have been blessed.
To find a treasure left on a bench,
For the first who'd come along.
A symbol of love from an unknown,
Is strange but it can't be wrong.
Maybe it ought to go viral now,
This simple token of love.
In a world filled with darkness and hate,
One touch from heaven above.
I can almost see the soft smile,
Breaking out on someone's face.
When they happen along to the spot,
And find this picture of grace.
Unasked, unwanted, but there it is,
A gift from an unknown friend.
Might get through the tall walls built so high,
Won't break you, but you might bend.
The unknown gifter took a picture,
Then he went along his way.
The single red rose left for just one,
To brighten a darkened day.
