Just picked up the new JFIRE. What are some of the major changes you noticed?

Plenty of Appropriate venues for TTP discussion, this isn't one of them. Why make it easy for the enemy? Already have enough toolbags on FB without any sense of OPSEC or INFOSEC.

It's been a little since I looked, but I don't believe they did. Probably for good reason. Both platforms are proving to be either too expensive or just incredibly disappointing.

No changes on REDs for surface to surface fires. Very small tweaks to REDs on air to surface. They took a lot of the instructional material out. There's not any major changes that effect the way we use it.

I've noticed that CCA is no longer present in the JFIRE. I believe it's now referred to as Army Attack Aviation.

I did see that. Making the acronym AAA instead shouldn't be confusing at all......

I bought it on myarmypublications.com. I'll never see the weather proof copy again

Or you can request or look for the changes in red in specific versions. Or at least that's what old pubs showed when changes were made.

REDs for surface to surface showed no change. Air to surface was negligible. The meat of the manual changed quite a bite though
