Avoid the partners, take advantage of new learning experiences and advance as soon as you are able.

Skip flight school and go for more education. Flying was a dud for me and I found my footing in cybersecurity. I could have been doing this much earlier, gotten in on the ground floor, and potentially been a part of some groundbreaking things.

Go to university first and join Army ROTC.

Don't ever drink alcoholic beverages, Take schools that are critical & pays Great, & Find My Wife earlier where I can Love Her Longer !

Stay in the marines and make a career of it

Enjoy life ...you only live once !!

Listened to my First Sergeant's advice about staying away from all of the whores in Juarez.

Every duty station is different. Take advice but remember everyone’s military experiences are different so take it with a grain of salt. everyone’s military experience is different. Make the best of your situation and control the things you can control.

Do better in high school. I graduated, but could have done better. It mad it more difficult to get my B.S. degree in Nutrition.

It gets better and it's never as bad as it seems at the time
