Study harder in high school. I was rather rebellious as a teen being a child of a broken home when such things weren't openly discussed. The military helped a lot and I turned out pretty well.

Upon reflection, I believe that I would have joined the Reserves instead of active duty. I have friends who have lived a good life serving in the reserves and was activated when required, and at the same time was able to pursue their secular careers and now are retired from both endeavors which affords them a more secure life. And yes, I should have invested more in technology.
